Jump Dress

General Info
This outfit was the first to be released by FM and I think is one of their very best. The outfit consists of a red under-dress layered with black net, an overdress of a beaded vest and point d'espirt skirt / train, red boots, red drawers, a silver butterfly hair pin and a red necklace with matching earrings.

The Good
Tons of handwork, including the fully beaded vest (so gorgeous), and the beaded trim. I love the sparkly point d'esprit, the color and the way the red dress fits Rose perfectly. The gown sparkles wonderfully in low lighting and the glass beads are stunning. It is one of the most accurate outfits, with many details absolutely perfect to the orginial.

The Bad
Lots of loose threads and things poorly sewn (all that handwork). I have had to repair quite a bit on this gown, more than one would think on a "dress-up" outfit. Poor fit on the over-vest piece, one has to practically wrestle Rose into the thing. The boots are not finished well but they are covered up by the gown so not a big deal. The net overskirts are a bit too full and the "beaded circles" at the bottom are pretty chintzy. The orinigal outfit was accessorized with green jewelry, not red.

The Rating
for overall impression and look - 9 out of 10
