The bottom-back of the ensemble - note the wire in the skirt. Also note that the bottom layer of net is pleated and sewn directly onto the red skirt. This is exactly the method used on the original (see Sense & Sensibility), except that on the original the top of the flounce was finished with silk ribbon.
