Season's Greetings!
We pray that you and your family are doing well. It's been interesting here! Dennis deployed to the Persian Gulf in July, but was sent back early for back trouble. The Docs have decided to not do surgery and it looks like we will leave San Diego on time next spring. Oh, yes, and Dennis is leaving the Navy! He was approved for an early out program and will officially detach in May 1995. With vacation etc., we will leave San Diego in late February or March, headed back to Fredericksburg, Va. This will be our base of operations and we pray that the Lord will allow us to go to Papua New Guinea to help some friends with New Tribes missions. We hope to be in PNG for 6 months to 2 years. After that, who knows?
DJ is busy teaching the girls and sewing, as usual. This has been a fruitful year for homeschooling, in spite of Dad goofing up the schedule by coming home!
Jenny is busy with school and earning big buck$ baby-sitting. She and Bridget are attending a youth group at the local Evangelical Free Church, and enjoying it very much, as well as the the High School Homeschool group. She has really become interested in historical fashion and she and DJ discussing the possibility of starting a business when we settle down a little.
Bridget is now taller than Jenny and showing no sign of slowing down! I'm sure she'll be as tall as DJ - we'll see about Dennis! She is working hard at school and also enjoying the youth group and homeschool group. She earns almost as much $$ as Jenny at baby-sitting. Dennis and DJ spend many Saturday nights alone (aaww!).
We pray that the next year finds you in God's will and that He richly blesses you
